What are you scared of?

A short reminder that fear is only a made up state of mind

I was paralyzed. A battle in my mind was being performed between thoughts of fear, anxiety, overwhelmed by temptation of quitting… where was that person that have been fearless, patient, courageous?

Just the morning after that battle, I am back on track. Ups and downs are normal, but it is our own decision to let fear overwhelm us and lead us to quit.

Sharing this, I just want to remind you something you already know, have read a lot about, but somehow need to keep in mind, like me. Frequently we take for granted our blessings, gifts, talents and past achievements… write them down where you can refresh your thoughts of gratefulness, victory and confidence. I remind myself: the same victorious person that conquered among many other cells to be conceived in the womb is the same that is living now; you are not made to be a quitter. Fear is nowhere else but in our minds. So let do not make them grow. Instead, plant seeds of faith, belief and encouragement in your mind and uproot those seeds of fear and discouragement off your mind.

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NLT)

Why the image above this post? It reminds me a victory in my mind… defeated fear to start my own company.
